Disposable boys is a collection of multi-layered charcoal paintings inspired by ‘sweetheart portraits’ of boys sent to war across the last three centuries, alongside digital photomontages using two centuries of photographic imagery exploring masculinity, fragility, violence and trauma. It was first displayed at the Ninth Life gallery in London SE6 in October 2021.
